The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has announced the 12th standard results, with the state’s overall pass percentage at 89.79 percent this year. Notably, this is the lowest result in the past five years, and the state’s percentage has once again declined. As in previous years, the Konkan division has maintained its dominance with 94.14 percent, while the Latur division, once known for its educational pattern, has finished last in the state with a result of 84.14 percent. How to check the result? To view the Class 12 results, students should use the official websites mahahsscboard.in, mahresult.nic.in and hscresult.mkcl.org. As lakhs of students log in simultaneously when the results are declared, there is a possibility of the website slowing down. In such cases, it will be convenient to clear the browser cache, keep different websites open in various tabs at the same time, or try again after some time. Latur: 84.14 percent Key highlights of Class 12th results 1. For this examination, a total of 14,44,713 regular students registered from nine divisional boards in the state – Pune, Nagpur, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Mumbai, Kolhapur, Amravati, Nashik, Latur, and Konkan – for Science, Arts, Commerce, and Vocational courses and I.T.I. branches. Out of these, 14,33,058 students appeared, of which 12,86,843 students passed and the pass percentage is 89.79. 2. The total number of students registered as private students is 37,559, out of which 36,941 students appeared and 29,634 students passed. Their pass percentage is 80.21. 3. For this examination, a total of 50,876 re-examination students registered from all branches across nine divisional boards in the state. Out of these, 50,346 students appeared for the examination. Of these, 18,349 students passed and their overall pass percentage is 36.44. 4. A total of 8,446 differently-abled students from all branches across nine divisional boards in the state had registered for this examination. Out of these, 8,367 differently-abled students appeared for the examination. Of these, 7,579 differently-abled students have passed and their overall pass percentage is 90.58. 5. Action has been taken to award grace marks to eligible differently-abled students who registered for the 12th examination as per the prevailing system. 6. Among all divisional boards, the Konkan division has the highest result (94.14%) for regular students, while the Latur division has the lowest result (84.14%). 7. The pass percentage of regular girls across all divisional boards is 93.15, while the pass percentage of boys is 86.80%. This means the pass percentage of girls is 6.35% higher than boys. 8. Out of a total of 153 subjects, 26 subjects have a 100% result. Where to check the results? Students of Maharashtra Board Class 12 can view their results on the official website ‘mahahsscboard.in’. For this, they will need to click on the “HSC Exam Result 2026” link on the website and accurately enter their seat number and mother’s name.
