Keeping future needs in mind, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has launched the Rs 500 Crore Chief Minister AI Mission. The main objective of this mission is to make Chhattisgarh not just an AI-adopting state, but a leader in its use and innovation. Under this mission, 100 AI Labs and 5 Centres of Excellence (CoE) will be developed in the state.

Under the plan, around 6 lakh students and 1.5 lakh government officers and employees will be connected with AI usage. More than 50 government services will be made more effective through AI. To transform youth from job seekers to job creators, training in Machine Learning and Data Science is being imparted.

AI APPLICATION IN AGRICULTURE, HEALTH AND ADMINISTRATION

The scope of this mission is not limited to IT alone, but is being implemented on the ground to make the lives of common people easier. By analyzing data related to agricultural weather, crops, pests and diseases, farmers will get timely and accurate advice. AI-based technology will improve diagnostics, disease identification and management of health resources.

GOOD GOVERNANCE AND INDUSTRY

With the expansion of government portals like Seva Setu and the use of AI, monitoring of schemes and delivery of citizen services are being made seamless. At the same time, productivity and energy efficiency will increase in industries. Use of robotics and machine learning in factories increases production speed and reduces errors. AI sensors constantly monitor the condition of machines and give warnings before any failure, saving costs. AI-powered tools are being used in industries to understand personal preferences and provide 24×7 support.

NAVA RAIPUR EMERGING AS NEW HUB OF TECHNOLOGY AND AI

Nava Raipur is being developed as a major centre for IT, AI and Data Centres. An AI-based Data Centre and AI SEZ is being developed here with an investment of about Rs 1,000 Crore. Apart from this, it has been decided to set up a National Skill Training Institute (NSTI) in Nava Raipur at a cost of about Rs 200 Crore. Through AI Centres of Excellence at NIT Raipur and IIIT Nava Raipur, research and startups in areas like mining, steel, health, agriculture and smart governance are being promoted, opening new doors of high-tech employment for the youth of Chhattisgarh.

COUNTRY’S FIRST AI-BASED DATA CENTRE IN NAVA RAIPUR

In Sector-22 of Nava Raipur Atal Nagar, the country’s first AI-based Data Centre is being developed on 13.5 acres. This project will not only take the identity of the state to new heights but will also bring major changes for the common people. Youth of the state will not have to migrate to big cities for better career opportunities. The benefits of AI technology will also reach farmers, students and common citizens. With stronger digital services, benefits of education, healthcare and government schemes will easily reach remote areas.
