Expressing happiness over Prime Minister Shri Modi mentioning Chhattisgarh’s ‘Har Ghar Munga – Ghar-Ghar Munga’ campaign, Chief Minister Sai said it is a matter of great pride for the entire state. Peace Bringing Prosperity in Naxal-Affected Areas: CM Sai CM Shri Vishnu Deo Sai said that areas which were once affected by Naxalism are now witnessing a new picture of peace, trust and development. He said that due to the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the strong will of Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah, the indomitable courage of security forces and the cooperation of local people, Chhattisgarh is rapidly moving towards freedom from Naxalism. “Where there was once an atmosphere of fear, new doors of development and prosperity are now opening with peace. The state government is committed to taking the benefits of development to the last village and the last person,” the Chief Minister said. PM’s Praise is Respect for People’s Hard Work: CM CM Sai said that Prime Minister Shri Modi gives a national platform to positive changes and innovations happening through public participation. The continuous mention of Chhattisgarh’s efforts is a mark of respect for the hard work of the people of the state. He said that the ‘Har Ghar Munga’ campaign is an important initiative to make the fight against malnutrition more effective through Janbhagidari. Moringa is easily available and a rich source of nutrition, containing iron and many other nutrients. Its leaves, fruits and flowers are used as food. He called upon villagers and students to plant a Munga sapling in every home and to spread awareness about its nutritional benefits. PM Discussed Chhattisgarh’s Innovation in Mann Ki Baat In the 138th episode of Mann Ki Baat, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi discussed various subjects including nutrition, cleanliness, environment and ‘Vocal for Local’. Marking September as Poshan Maah dedicated to the fight against malnutrition, he mentioned the ‘Har Ghar Munga’ campaign run by the Women and Child Development Department of Chhattisgarh, which encourages people to make nutritious Moringa a part of their daily diet. CM Sai said it is a matter of pride that PM Modi is continuously giving space to Chhattisgarh’s innovations in Mann Ki Baat. Earlier, initiatives like Bastar Pandum, Bastar Olympics, historical copper plates found in Malhar, and Korea district’s ‘5% Water Conservation Model’ have been praised by the Prime Minister. Rs 85 Lakh Gift for Lamkanhar On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Sai announced various development works worth a total of Rs 85 lakh for education, infrastructure and community facilities in village Lamkanhar. Rs 15 lakh for community hall construction near Sheetla Temple Rs 37 lakh for primary and secondary school building construction Rs 18 lakh for CC road construction in Chhote Para Rs 15 lakh for library and laboratory at Eklavya Model Residential School, Lamkanhar He said providing better educational environment and modern facilities to children is the government’s priority. Planted Guava Sapling Under ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ After the Mann Ki Baat programme, Chief Minister Shri Sai planted a guava sapling in the school premises under the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign. He called upon people to plant more trees for environmental protection and to take care of them. On this occasion, MP Shri Bhojraj Nag, Antagarh MLA Shri Vikram Usendi, public representatives, officers, students and a large number of villagers were present.
