A crowd of farmers gathered at the government warehouse in the Agricultural Produce Market as urea fertilizer was being given from a single counter. Due to the shortage, some farmers created a ruckus and started throwing stones. This led to fights and chaos among the farmers. Seeing the commotion, employees stopped distributing the fertilizer. Later, when the Tehsildar and Police Station In-charge arrived at the scene with police force, the situation was brought under control and fertilizer distribution was resumed. One farmer was injured in the stone pelting. Fertilizer is being distributed from the government warehouse located in the market premises. On Wednesday, fertilizer was being distributed from only one counter instead of two counters. This resulted in a long line of farmers. After standing in line for hours, some farmers at the back became agitated and started pelting stones at farmers standing in front. This angered the farmers in front and they clashed with each other. Some farmers had created a ruckus which was calmed down upon reaching the spot. From Thursday, fertilizer distribution will be done from two counters. Along with this, police force will also be deployed. – Dheeraj Singh Parihar, Tehsildar Post navigation 104 voters from 21 castes registered at single Narela address:On-ground check finds only 4 residents; 34 lakh new voters listed in MP during 2023 elections Indore building accident trapped woman under debris:She stayed stuck for 3 hours after house collapsed while residents rushed to rescue her
