According to information, on Thursday night in Bhimpura village, Nani Bai was sleeping with her granddaughters, Lakshmi (10), Payal (3), Ranu (8), Kanu (6), and her daughter Monica. During this, Dhannabai’s two sons came onto the roof and attacked Nani Bai with an axe. The children woke up. One accused tried to strangle his granddaughter, Lakshmi, but they all escaped and hid in a room in the house. During this, the accused threw Nani Bai from the roof. She died.
