He offered flowers at the statue of the revolutionary icon and bowed in reverence. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said that Bhagat Singh was a radiant hero of India’s freedom struggle, whose indomitable courage, unwavering patriotism and supreme sacrifice left an everlasting inspiration for generations to come. “His life teaches us that national interest is paramount and that sacrifice for freedom is the true symbol of patriotism,” the CM said. He added that Bhagat Singh’s ideas and ideals continue to inspire the youth to actively participate in nation-building. The occasion was also attended by MLA Purandar Mishra, CGMSC Chairman Deepak Mhaskey, Minority Board Chairman Amarjeet Chhabra, along with several other distinguished citizens.
