DoPT Clears 2009 IAS of MP Cadre Preeti Maithil for Joint Secretary-Level Posting; TRIFED GM Set for Central Deputation Preeti Maithil Empanelled for Joint Secretary-Level Posts in Govt of India Madhya Pradesh cadre IAS officer Preeti Maithil (IAS: 2009: MP) has been empanelled for holding Joint Secretary and equivalent-level posts at the Centre. The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) issued the empanelment order on Wednesday, October 28, 2026. Her case had earlier been kept in the left-over category. Ms. Maithil is currently serving as General Manager (Director level) at the Tribal Cooperative Marketing Development Federation of India (TRIFED), Bhopal, overseeing the Madhya Pradesh region. The post is a non-Central Staffing Scheme (Non-CSS) position. With her empanelment, she is now eligible for a Joint Secretary-level posting in the Government of India.
