I don’t understand who these people are who are threatening me like this. The first threat was received on September 20. A call came on my wife Sunita’s mobile. The caller said that we have received a contract to kill your husband, Dr. Manoj Kaurav, for 11 lakh rupees. Gwalior District Health Officer (DHO) Dr. Manoj Kaurav has received serious threats, he told Dainik Bhaskar. He said he is now afraid to go out alone. The attackers are demanding ₹15 lakh for his safety and are constantly threatening him. Sometimes, they even send photos of a pistol on WhatsApp, warning that they will kill him. Sometimes they send photos of bundles of notes and send messages to arrange the money. They have threatened 87 times in 26 days. It has been 30 days since the FIR was filed, but the accused has not been caught. Threateners started coming to home and office The District Health Officer (DHO) and his family have been living in fear for 26 days. Between September 20 and October 2, the DHO received 87 threatening messages on WhatsApp. The DHO filed an FIR, but the police did not reach the accused. Now, the person giving threats has adopted a new tactic. Four days ago, a person named Rajesh Kansana reached the DHO’s office (CMHO office) posing as the accused’s lawyer. Kansana, identifying himself as a lawyer, told the DHO, “Why are you bothering my client?” The DHO replied – I don’t even know them, on the contrary, they are threatening me. Kansana said – Okay, let’s meet in court after 2 days. DHO Kaurav informed the police about this incident, but received the same old reply from the police that the matter is under investigation. Thug said – I have received a contract of 11 lakh rupees Dr. Manoj Kaurav, a resident of Gola Ka Mandir, is the district health officer. His wife Sunita received the first threatening call on her mobile from a number 7441135496 at 11 AM on September 20. Thug said – 4 days have passed, when will you give the money, I will kill you After the first threat, on September 24, the sender again said in a WhatsApp message – Today 4 days have passed, when are you giving the money? If you don’t want to give, tell me. Because from today, the murder mission will be ready. Give me 15 lakh, otherwise I will break into your house and shoot you. What has the police done in 26 days so far? Dr. Manoj Kaurav had filed a complaint about receiving threats on September 20 at Gola Ka Mandir police station. The police registered an FIR on September 22. The investigation revealed that the threatening messages were sent from number 7441135496, which is registered in the name of Shivam Shakya, a resident of Bhind. Police reached Bhind and interrogated Shivam. He stated that his SIM card had fallen out some time ago, so he knew nothing about the threat. The police released him. After this, there was continuous communication from the same number with a woman living in Ghasmandi. The police also interrogated the woman, but no concrete information was found. Now, the police are gathering information about the person who arrived at the doctor’s office posing as a lawyer. Who is the person who met posing as a lawyer? Recently, a person met Dr. Kaurav posing as the accused’s lawyer. A person named Rajesh Kansana had approached the doctor. Dainik Bhaskar also has a video of the conversation between the doctor and Rajesh. Rajesh, who arrived as a lawyer, said that a person came to him and asked him to take his case. He also mentioned threatening the doctor. After hearing this, I went to meet the doctor. I asked the doctor if anyone had threatened him? What was the matter? The doctor clarified that it was a case of extortion. After this, the doctor asked for the name of that person, but I refused to tell. The doctor asked why I had come to meet him? I said – we would meet today or in court after 2 days. After this, I left. The accused has been identified, will be caught soon Gola Ka Mandir Police Station TI Harendra Sharma said that the accused has been identified.
