Mandsaur witnessed a shocking Diwali stunt when a group of youths set off firecrackers on the roof of a moving car on Manasa Road near Pipliya Mandi. The car, bearing registration number MP 09 DC 8139, was driven at normal speed while one youth opened the car’s door, placed a firecracker on the roof, and ignited it. Another youth continued driving the car as the stunt unfolded. Two youths on a motorcycle followed behind, recording the dangerous act. One of the youths involved even dangled halfway out of the car window while filming the scene on his mobile. Police action underway Pipliya Mandi Station In-Charge, Dharmesh Yadav, said, “Police are currently trying to identify the youths through the car’s registration number. Appropriate legal action will be taken once the culprits are traced.” Authorities have warned that such reckless behavior endangers not only the performers but also other road users. In the viral video, a youth is seen standing on the door of a moving car while holding a firecracker in one hand, with the car speeding down the highway. The youth balanced himself with one hand on the car door while managing the firecracker with the other. The footage reportedly comes from Banmore town and was shared on Instagram via the account named “Honey Jain.” Police tracing offenders Banmore Station In-Charge, Deependra Yadav, confirmed, “We have received the video of the stunt. The car involved is a Maruti Swift with registration number MP 07 ZH 2699.
