Indore’s Devi Ahilyabai Holkar International Airport continues to expand its flight connectivity. The direct flight between Indore and Nashik has been resumed, providing a major convenience for passengers traveling to Nashik, Trimbakeshwar, Bhimashankar, and Shirdi. Flight schedule and frequency According to airport officials, the IndiGo Airlines flight (6E-7154) will depart from Indore at 1:30 PM and reach Nashik at 2:40 PM. The return flight (6E-7109) will leave Nashik at 3:00 PM and land in Indore at 4:15 PM.
The flight will operate three days a week — Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday — using an ATR-72 aircraft with a 76-passenger capacity. The route was previously operational but was suspended in August as part of IndiGo’s route rotation process. The service has now officially restarted. Religious tourism boost A large number of passengers on this route travel for religious pilgrimages. The resumption of this route is expected to greatly benefit devotees visiting these holy sites. Airfare details The base fare for the Indore to Nashik flight is Rs 4,052, while the return fare from Nashik to Indore starts at Rs 3,771. Increasing air traffic at Indore Airport With the new winter schedule, Indore Airport now handles over 90 flights daily, carrying an average of 11,500 passengers per day. Previously, about 82 flights operated with nearly 10,000 daily passengers.
Additionally, two extra flights to Goa have been added, and the Indore-Sharjah international flight now operates seven days a week. Flight delays due to weather On Wednesday, over two dozen flights arriving and departing from Indore were delayed.
Sources cited bad weather as the primary reason for the disruption, affecting flights from Mumbai, Delhi, Gondia, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, and Bengaluru. ​
