On the auspicious occasion of Amla Navami, Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai, along with his wife Smt. Kaushalya Sai, performed traditional rituals and offered prayers to the Amla tree at the Chief Minister’s residence, praying for the happiness, prosperity, and good health of the people of the state. On this occasion, the Chief Minister highlighted the cultural and spiritual significance of Amla Navami, stating that in Indian tradition, the Amla tree is considered sacred and known for its divine and medicinal properties. Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Amla Navami, also known as Akshaya Navami, is a festival that conveys the message of wealth, health, and prosperity. He added that it is believed that eating under the Amla tree and consuming its fruit brings health benefits, mental peace, and positive energy. The Chief Minister also appealed to the people of the state to be aware and take active steps toward the conservation of natural and medicinal plants. He said that nature forms the foundation of our culture and trees are the nourisher of life. “Along with worshipping trees, it is our collective responsibility to protect and preserve them,” he added.
