Police arrested a Bangladeshi girl from a flat in Gwalior’s City Center Govindpuri area on Friday night. The girl, a resident of Dhaka, had come to India 8 months ago via Kolkata. A young man with her was also detained. Suspicious chats and foreign numbers were found on her mobile, and the investigation revealed she was brought to India for sex work. A month ago, an eight-member Bangladeshi family was caught from the Maharajpura area, who are currently kept in the police line’s detention center. The apprehended young woman turned out to be Bangladeshi and stated that she was brought to India for sex work. Currently, her interrogation is ongoing, and her network is being investigated. ​
