A 27-year-old model was found dead under suspicious circumstances in Bhopal early Monday morning. Her boyfriend reportedly dropped her at a private hospital on Indore Road in Bhainsakhedi and fled from the scene soon after. Hospital authorities informed the police about the woman’s death, following which officers took custody of the body and initiated an investigation. Police said the postmortem is being conducted at Gandhi Medical College in the presence of the woman’s relatives and a magistrate. The deceased’s family has accused the boyfriend of murder, claiming there were visible injury marks on her private parts, shoulders, and face. Victim Identified as Khushbu Ahirwar, a model and cafe worker Head constable Prateek Kumar identified the deceased as Khushbu Ahirwar, also known as Khushi Verma (27). She had dropped out of college after her first year of B.A. studies and was currently pursuing modeling while working at a café in the city. Lived in with boyfriend, who is now missing According to police, Khushbu had been in a live-in relationship with a man named Kasim, who brought her to the hospital and then disappeared. A preliminary case (marg) has been registered, and police have begun further inquiry into the circumstances surrounding her death.
