A powerful explosion took place in a parked car near the Red Fort in Delhi. The blast has killed 8 people and injured 24 others. The exact cause of the explosion is not yet known. Following the incident, a high alert has been issued in Delhi, Mumbai, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has spoken to Home Minister Amit Shah regarding the situation. According to reports, the explosion occurred around 6:55 PM on Monday in the parking area near Gate No. 1 of Fort Metro Station. The fire spread rapidly, burning three other nearby vehicles as well. Police have cordoned off the area. A forensic team has reached the site, and CCTV footage from the surrounding areas is being examined. The NIA (National Investigation Agency) and NSG (National Security Guard) have also been sent to the location.
