MP IAS Meet 2025: A Celebration of Service, Sportsmanship and Shared Values

Madhya Pradesh IAS Meet 2025, organised from 19 to 21 December, successfully blended administrative fraternity, family participation and competitive spirit, culminating in an atmosphere of satisfaction and collective achievement.

Speaking at the concluding session, Chief Secretary Anurag Jain described the meet as a reflection of strong institutional culture within the MP IAS cadre. He acknowledged the leadership role of MP IAS Association, and expressed special thanks to President of IAS Association and Additional Chief Secretary Manu Shrivastava and P Narhari, Chairman of the MP IAS Association, and the Association’s team for their dedicated efforts in organising the event with professionalism.

CS Anurag Jain particularly appreciated the Association’s inclusive practice of ensuring that officers serving within the state as well as those on central deputation receive greetings, cakes and gifts during key occasions. He termed this tradition a healthy and progressive practice that reinforces belongingness and emotional connect within the service.

Emphasising cadre excellence, the Chief Secretary observed that the MP cadre continues to be among the finest in the country, known for its administrative depth, discipline and cohesion.

The meet also witnessed enthusiastic participation in sports events. Ilayaraja clinched the tennis title, showcasing competitive excellence. In the overall House results, Green House emerged as champions under the leadership of captain Ashok Barnwal. Red House secured the second position, while Orange House finished third.

As MP IAS Meet 2025 drew to a close, the collective sentiment among officers and families was one of joy, unity and renewed commitment, reinforcing the meet’s role as a cornerstone event for the state’s civil services community.
