Chief Minister’s Message on Social Media: MP Government Stands with Farmers Every Moment

State Developing Rapidly Under PM Modi’s Guidance

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav addressed the people of Madhya Pradesh in a heartfelt message on social media, saluting the Annadata and reiterating that the state government is committed to farmer welfare. He called farmers the foundation of the state’s development.

“Development of the state is impossible without farmers. The government stands with them in every situation and is running several schemes for their welfare,” CM Dr. Yadav said. He highlighted wheat procurement and land acquisition compensation, adding: “Our government’s resolve is ‘true promise and firm work.’”

Key announcements from the CM’s message:

1. Service as Commitment
“I consider myself fortunate to serve Madhya Pradesh. Since taking oath as Chief Minister, the entire state has been my family. Your happiness is my happiness, your sorrow is my sorrow. Under PM Narendra Modi’s able guidance, Madhya Pradesh is moving fast on the path of development. Our farmer brothers and sisters are the mainstay of this progress. I salute all Annadatas. Our government is committed to farmers’ prosperity and economic progress.”

2. Respect for Farmers’ Hard Work
“The soul of our state is connected to our Annadata. This year has been dedicated as Kisan Kalyan Varsh. In view of record wheat production, we requested the Centre to increase the procurement limit. The target has been raised from 78 lakh metric tonnes to 100 lakh metric tonnes — an unprecedented increase of 22 lakh MT. This is respect for farmers’ hard work and a concrete step to ensure their income. I thank PM Modi and the Government of India.”

3. Wheat Procurement Eased
“Slot booking for wheat procurement at MSP is now fully open for all farmers. Procurement will run 6 days a week, with no holiday on Saturday. Bookings have been extended from April 30 to May 9, and will be extended further if needed. Our resolve is that farmers face no problem.”

4. Historic Land Acquisition Decision
“Farmers will now get up to 4 times compensation for acquired land. This reflects our commitment to protecting farmers’ rights and securing their future. We are also expanding irrigation, promoting crop diversification, and spreading modern agricultural techniques.”

5. Boost to Pulses & Oilseeds
“For the first time in the country, MP will procure urad at MSP with an additional bonus of Rs 600 per quintal. After soybean’s success, the Bhavantar scheme for mustard has also raised market prices above MSP.”

6. Self-Reliance in Power
“Celebrating this year as Kisan Kalyan Varsh, we are giving agricultural pump connections for just Rs 5. Farmers will now get daytime electricity for irrigation. Under the Krishak Mitra scheme, solar irrigation pumps are being provided at 90% subsidy, making farmers self-reliant in power.”

7. Mission Milk Capital
“We are working to make MP the ‘Milk Capital’. 1,752 new milk committees have been formed. Daily collection has crossed 10 lakh kg. Over Rs 1,600 crore has been paid to milk producers, with farmers now getting Rs 8–10 more per kg. We want animal husbandry and new avenues to raise farmer income.”

8. Fertilizer Availability
“Despite challenges, urea availability is 5.90 lakh MT this year — higher than last year. Other fertilizers are also adequately stocked. We are improving distribution so farmers get fertilizers without long queues, using innovation and technology.”

“True promise and firm work” is our government’s resolve,” Dr. Mohan Yadav said. “Only when prosperity reaches from fields to factories will our farmers be prosperous. A prosperous MP farmer will play a key role in Viksit Bharat 2047. Your hard work and future are our top priority. Let us together take MP to new heights in agriculture during Kisan Kalyan Varsh. We will stand with our Annadatas till the end.”
