Marking one year since India launched Operation Sindoor, the Sidhi district Collector Mr Vikas Mishra rolled out the ‘Hello Sidhi-Jai Jawan’ program to support families of soldiers serving across India and those posted from Sidhi.

The initiative, announced by Collector Vikas, includes a toll-free number and dedicated website to address “minor issues” faced by soldier families in their villages. The program was launched in the presence of Veer Nari Mrs Sunita Singh and her son Sachin, the first beneficiaries.

“Operation Sindoor stands as a defining moment in India’s response to cross-border terrorism, combining precision strikes with sweeping diplomatic measures,” the administration said. The operation was triggered by a terror attack in Baisaran Valley near Pahalgam. The Indian Army had described it as “focused, measured and non-escalatory”.

Collector Vikas Mishra said: “Administration has a responsibility to assure every soldier that you fight for the country and we will take care of all issues of your family under norms. As Sidhi administration, we will stand by all soldier families in an inclusive way, not only on Independence Day and Republic Day. If we do not do this, we are only fooling ourselves.”

Hello Sidhi-Jai Jawan is a Single-window redressal for soldier families in Sidhi the Toll-free number + dedicated website for the Minor civic, revenue, and welfare issues.
