“A region long deprived of development is now writing a new story of progress” says CM Vishnu Deo Sai State government fully committed to upliftment of Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups and holistic development of Bastar Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai engaged in an intimate dialogue with villagers at a Jan Chaupal. Locals welcomed the Chief Minister with traditional customs and great enthusiasm. At the Jan Chaupal, the CM listened to residents’ grievances, reviewed the progress of various schemes, and reiterated the government’s commitment to ensuring welfare schemes reach the last person in line. CM Shri Sai said Sushasan Tihar is a powerful medium of direct dialogue between the administration and citizens. Its objective is to take government schemes to the ground and ensure speedy resolution of people’s problems. He noted that the region had remained affected by Naxal violence for long, stalling development for years. “But now the situation is changing rapidly, and new chapters of development are being written across Abujhmad and the entire Bastar region,” he said. He added that under Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s leadership, the development of Bastar and tribal areas is a top priority. Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah has also visited Bastar several times to review development and peace-building efforts. The state government is effectively implementing special schemes for the social and economic upliftment of Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups. Chhattisgarh is among the leading states in implementing the PM JANMAN Yojana. The CM reviewed the status of ration cards, MGNREGA job cards, and other beneficiaries. Garpa Sarpanch submitted a request for correction of land record errors, on which the CM directed officials to take necessary action. CM Sai announced several key development works: Primary Health Centre at Garpa Two culverts in Tumeradi 1 km internal CC road in Garpa Boundary wall for Anganwadi Centre, Garpa 1 km road from Sub-Health Centre to Rajkumar’s farm 1 km road from main road to Gudrapara in Maspur Boundary wall for Ashram Shala, Garpa Police station at Garpa to strengthen law & order and security The announcements sparked enthusiasm among residents, who thanked the CM for the development push. Shri Subodh Singh, Principal Secretary to CM; Shri Rajat Bansal, Special Secretary & Commissioner, Public Relations; senior officials; and a large number of villagers were present. Through the Jan Chaupal, the Chief Minister once again sent a message that the state government is committed to development, good governance, and public welfare — reaching the last person to resolve problems. The Jan Chaupal at Garpa in Abujhmad emerged as a strong example of trust, dialogue, and a new chapter of development between the government and the people.
