High-Level Review Meeting of Three Districts Held in Sukma: Comprehensive Review of Development Works, Law & Order, Health, Education, Agriculture and Welfare Schemes CM Shri Sai Directs: Real Benefits of Governance Must Reach the Last Person in Bastar; Time-Bound Redressal of Grievances Must Be Ensured “The real success of government and administration lies in ensuring benefits reach the last person in society, and that no citizen has to run pillar to post for resolution of grievances,” said Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai. He was chairing a high-level review meeting at the Collectorate Conference Hall, Sukma, with Collectors, Superintendents of Police and senior officials of Sukma, Dantewada and Bijapur districts. The meeting reviewed progress of development schemes, law & order, revenue matters, health, education, agriculture, basic infrastructure and public welfare programmes. 100% Saturation of Schemes in Bastar. CM Sai directed officials to ensure that benefits of government schemes reach every village and every eligible family in the remote and sensitive areas of Bastar division. “The state government’s objective is not merely to frame schemes, but to bring real change in people’s lives through them,” he said. The meeting was attended by Forest Minister, Principal Secretary to CM Shri Subodh Kumar Singh, Special Secretary & PR Commissioner Shri Rajat Bansal, Bastar Commissioner Doman Singh, CCF Alok Kumar Tiwari and concerned officials. Other officers joined via video conferencing. ‘Bastar Munne’ and ‘Mukhyamantri Swasth Bastar Abhiyan’ to Run in Mission Mode Reviewing the _Bastar Munne Abhiyan_ and _Mukhyamantri Swasth Bastar Abhiyan_, the CM directed that health services be made regularly and effectively accessible in remote forest areas. He said camp-based services should be used to resolve maximum citizen issues, and if needed, camps should run for two to three consecutive days to ensure solutions. He stressed that health facilities must not remain confined to statistics; citizens should experience quality treatment and dependable services. Special Drive for Pending Revenue Cases; Priority to Rehabilitated Families Directing special priority to Revenue Department work, CM Sai said that cases of mutation, demarcation, partition and record correction are directly linked to citizens’ rights and lives, and no negligence will be tolerated. He ordered special drives for speedy disposal of cases pending beyond time limits and those older than one year. The meeting also discussed _Swamitva Yojana_, distribution of forest rights pattas, benefits to rehabilitated families, and resettlement of Bastar-origin families currently living in other states. ‘Bastar Brand’ to Give New Market to Women SHGsThe CM laid special emphasis on linking women Self-Help Groups with forest-produce based activities and agri-enterprises like prawn farming, goat rearing and beekeeping. He directed preparation of an action plan to develop ponds in the Shabari river region for prawn farming, and to market SHG products under the “Bastar Brand”. He said women’s groups are not merely economic units but powerful drivers of rural self-reliance and social transformation. New Push for Tourism, Agriculture and Tribal Entrepreneurship The meeting discussed potential for tourism development in Sukma, Dantewada and Bijapur through water sports, adventure sports and jungle safaris. The CM stressed linking tourist sites with local employment and economic activity. He directed promotion of local entrepreneurship by connecting tribal communities to paddy processing and milling activities. Reviewing Kharif preparations, the CM instructed timely availability of fertilisers and seeds to farmers. Given limited availability of DAP fertiliser, he emphasised awareness among farmers about alternative fertilisers like SSP, urea, nano urea and nano DAP. Mukhyamantri Helpline to Become Strong Medium of Accountable Governance CM Sai said the state government is developing the _Mukhyamantri Helpline_ as a strong, effective and reliable platform for citizens to lodge complaints easily. Complaints received will be monitored at the highest level to ensure accountability of officers and time-bound resolution. “The true identity of good governance is a sensitive, accountable and result-oriented administration,” he said. He also stressed judicious use of diesel and petrol, stating there is no fuel shortage in the state and strict action will be taken against rumour-mongers.Special Focus on Education, Health, Road Safety and New Criminal Laws The CM reviewed _Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, PM Gram Sadak Yojana, PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, Jal Jeevan Mission, Bihan Yojana, tendu leaf collection, Mahtari Vandan Yojana, social security pensions, PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi_, health services and e-Office operations. On Ayushman Bharat, he clarified that merely issuing cards is not enough; eligible citizens must get actual benefits of quality treatment. On education, he stressed use of AI-based tools for subjects facing teacher shortages and praised Bijapur’s “Shiksha Mitaan” initiative. He directed improvement in learning levels, promotion of innovation-based teaching, and regular monitoring. Reviewing road safety, policing and implementation of new criminal laws, the CM instructed officers to ensure training, widespread public awareness and effective publicity of the laws. He also emphasised running the de-addiction campaign more effectively. Concluding the meeting, CM Vishnu Deo Sai called upon all departments to work with better coordination, clear targets and an accountable work culture, stating that with dedicated and coordinated efforts, Chhattisgarh can be established among the country’s leading and developed states.
