Cabinet Secretary Dr. T.V. Somanathan Reviews Action Plan for National Priority Programmes and Schemes with State Chief Secretaries. Somanathan, today chaired a video conference with Chief Secretaries of all states from New Delhi. He urged Chief Secretaries that the Central and State Governments should jointly implement programmes and schemes of national importance. The conference held detailed discussions on the implementation of key welfare schemes of the Government of India across states, including education, health, child health and education, APAAR ID, Anganwadi management, Arogya Mandir, Aatmanirbhar Bharat, Swadeshi Livelihood Mission, PM-JANMAN, pension schemes, and other major people-centric programmes. During the video conference, discussions were also held on the upcoming National Conference of NITI Aayog and necessary arrangements for the re-NEET examination to be conducted by NTA. Chhattisgarh Chief Secretary Shri Vikas Sheel joined the video conference from Nava Raipur. Work done in Chhattisgarh under the Livelihood Mission, Aspirational Districts, and Niyad Nellanar Yojana was specially highlighted in the CS conference. Secretaries of various departments of the Central Government, Chief Secretaries of all states, and Secretaries of various state departments also attended the video conference.
