Chief Secretary Shri Vikas Sheel chaired a high-level meeting of officials regarding the CM Helpline at Mahanadi Bhawan, Mantralaya. He directed officials to ensure prompt redressal of grievances received through the CM Helpline. The Chief Secretary instructed General Administration Department officials that the CM Helpline is being launched from June 9, 2026. Letters should be issued to all department Secretaries, Heads of Departments, Divisional Commissioners and District Collectors to ensure necessary action as per guidelines for implementation of the CM Helpline. He said it must be ensured that public grievances received through the CM Helpline are resolved within the stipulated time frame. No negligence in this regard will be tolerated. Secretary to the Chief Minister and Good Governance & Convergence Department, Shri Rahul Bhagat, gave a detailed presentation on the modern grievance management system under the CM Helpline. He explained the process for nodal officers of various departments to ensure quality resolution of grievances within the timeline. He also detailed the automated escalation process for transferring grievances to L-1 to L-4 level officers. Further, he outlined the transparent mechanism for obtaining feedback from citizens on their satisfaction with grievance redressal.
