Strong tremors were felt in Delhi-NCR on Saturday. According to the National Center for Seismology, the epicentre of these tremors lies in Afghanistan, as the country witnessed a 6.2 earthquake. According to reports, the earthquake was felt in the Hindu Kush region, about 81 kilometers from Kalafgan. It struck at 7:05 PM local time and measured 6.2 on the Richter scale. These tremors were felt in several countries, such as Pakistan, China, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Turkmenistan. Tremors felt in India In India, other than the Delhi-NCR tremors were also felt in Jammu and Kashmir as the areas are considered seismically sensitive. The state often experiences mild to moderate earthquakes from time to time.
