The Competent Authority has approved a series of senior-level bureaucratic appointments, additional charge arrangements and central deputation postings across key ministries, departments and organisations, including the Cabinet Secretariat, Inter-State Council Secretariat, Ministry of Heavy Industries, Department of Financial Services and Delhi Development Authority.

Manoj Govil Gets Additional Charge of Secretary, Transport & Logistics Planning

Manoj Govil, IAS (MP:1991), Secretary (Coordination), Cabinet Secretariat, has been assigned the additional charge of Secretary (Transport & Logistics Planning), Cabinet Secretariat, with immediate effect till the appointment of a regular incumbent.

Rajendra Kumar Gets Additional Charge of Inter-State Council Secretary

Rajendra Kumar, IAS (TN:1992), Secretary, Department of Border Management, will hold the additional charge of Secretary, Inter-State Council Secretariat, following the superannuation of Ashish Srivastava on October 31, 2026. The arrangement will continue till a regular incumbent is appointed.

Sandeep Pondrik Gets Additional Charge of Heavy Industries Secretary

Sandeep Pondrik, IAS (BH:1993), Secretary, Ministry of Steel, has been assigned the additional charge of Secretary, Ministry of Heavy Industries, following the superannuation of Kamran Rizvi on October 31, 2026. He will hold the charge till a regular appointment is made.

Other Key Appointments

Siddharth Shiv Jaiswal, IAS (TR:2016), has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Financial Services, Delhi, under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of four years.

Shrikrishan Yadav, IOFS (2015), has been selected as Controller of Examinations at Deputy Secretary level in the Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB) under the Central Staffing Scheme for four years.

In the Delhi Development Authority (DDA), two key appointments have been notified. An officer recommended for central deputation by the Department of Defence has been selected as Commissioner (Housing) at Deputy Secretary level for four years. Meanwhile, Rahul Eknath Karale, IDAS (2011), has been selected as Commissioner (Personnel), DDA, at Director level for five years.
