Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai Approves ₹3 Crore for Development Works in Korba on Minister Shri Lakhan Lal Dewangan’s Proposal Korba MLA and Chhattisgarh’s Minister for Commerce & Industry, Public Enterprises, Commercial Taxes & Excise, and Labour, Shri Lakhan Lal Dewangan, proposed a series of development works for the Korba region. Acting on his proposal, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has approved a total amount of ₹3 crore — ₹2 crore from the Madhya Kshetra Vikas Pradhikaran (Central Area Development Authority) and ₹1 crore from the Scheduled Caste Development Authority — for various development projects. It is noteworthy that a meeting of the Madhya Kshetra Vikas Pradhikaran was recently held in Korba under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai. During the meeting, based on the demands raised by Cabinet Minister Shri Lakhan Lal Dewangan, the Chief Minister made several key announcements, including ₹9 crore for the Sunalia Bridge and ₹10 crore each for the Boys and Girls Sports Complex. Following Minister Dewangan’s proposals, the Chief Minister approved ₹2 crore under the Madhya Kshetra Vikas Pradhikaran for a total of 15 new development projects in the Korba Assembly constituency. Similarly, ₹1 crore was sanctioned under the Scheduled Caste Development Authority for six different development projects.
