Bhopal’s Chhola area saw bloodshed on Wednesday late night, when two youths clashed with each other, and launched a knife attack, the police said. According to the police, the youths involved in the attack had a previous dispute, and landed in an altercation 2 days ago too, which escalated into a knife attack on Wednesday. The police added that an FIR has been registered against both the youths, and they, along with one of their accomplices, have been taken into custody. Man named Himashu had a dispute with Chetan Chhola Mandir police station house officer (SHO) Saraswati Tiwari told Bhaskar English that one of the youths involved in the attack is named Himanshu. He had a long-standing dispute with another man named Chetan, who also resides in the Chhola area. The SHO went on to inform that two days ago, Chetan and Himanshu had a dispute, which had ended in a brief scuffle. Since then, both of them had been planning revenge against each other. Chetan accosts Himanshu on Wednesday, stabs him, gets attacked with knife too According to the police, it was Himanshu’s 18th birthday on Wednesday. He was loitering in the area, when Chetan, along with one of his accomplices named Bhaiyyu, accosted him. The duo assaulted Himanshu, and Chetan flashed a knife thereafter. He stabbed Chetan on his waist and in stomach. In retaliation, Himanshu too attacked Chetan with a knife, after which the locals intervened and tried to pacify the dispute. Himanshu approached the Chhola police and narrated the incident to them, after which the police conducted a fair probe, and booked Himanshu, as well as Chetan and his accomplice Bhaiyyu. Accused trio to be produced in court SHO Tiwari further said that the accused trio has been arrested, and shall soon be produced in the court.
