On the historic occasion of the completion of 25 years since the formation of Chhattisgarh state, Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai paid floral tribute to the statue of Chhattisgarh Mahtari at the Collectorate premises in the capital city, Raipur. He offered his respects and prayed for the prosperity, happiness, and all-round development of the people of the state.

Chief Minister Shri Sai performed traditional worship in accordance with Chhattisgarh’s rich folk culture and bowed before Chhattisgarh Mahtari, the symbol of the state’s heritage, culture, womanhood, and pride. He said that Chhattisgarh Mahtari represents the identity, faith, and pride of every citizen of the state.

He emphasized that this is a land that reveres feminine power (Matrushakti), and with the blessings of Chhattisgarh Mahtari, the state continues to progress steadily on the path of development. Extending his greetings on Rajyotsav (State Foundation Day), the Chief Minister said that the state government is fully committed to the holistic development of Chhattisgarh. He added that numerous schemes are being implemented for improving the standard of living of the people, empowering women, promoting agricultural growth, creating employment opportunities for youth, uplifting tribal communities, and preserving cultural heritage.

Chief Minister Sai stated that the Silver Jubilee Year marks a new era of energy and resolve for Chhattisgarh. He said that today is a moment of great pride, as Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is visiting Chhattisgarh, and several historic programs are being organized on this special occasion. The Chief Minister expressed confidence that with the blessings of Chhattisgarh Mahtari, the state will soon establish itself as one of the leading and most prosperous states in the country.
