Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai and his family performed worship rituals

On the auspicious occasion of Devuthani Ekadashi, a Tulsi Vivah ceremony was organized at the Chief Minister’s residence with devotion, faith, and traditional rituals. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai and his wife, Smt. Kaushalya Sai, solemnized the divine marriage of Goddess Tulsi and Lord Shaligram and performed family prayers and worship.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Devuthani Ekadashi symbolizes the harmony of religion, spirituality, and nature. With the awakening of Lord Vishnu from his cosmic slumber, auspicious activities and rituals resume. The Tulsi Vivah festival awakens feelings of purity, harmony, and unity in society.

He added that Tulsi Vivah holds special significance in the folk traditions of Chhattisgarh. The festival inspires people to maintain balance and harmony between family, society, and nature. In our cultural heritage, Tulsi Vivah is considered a symbol of purity and devotion, bringing positivity and goodwill into life.

Extending his best wishes for the happiness, peace, prosperity, and good health of the people of the state, the Chief Minister said that with the blessings of Lord Vishnu, the preserver of the universe, and Goddess Tulsi, may everyone’s life be filled with happiness, peace, and prosperity, and may the entire creation be infused with harmony and auspicious energy.

He further said that this festival is not only of religious importance but also a symbol of balance, positivity, and new beginnings in life.

Chief Minister Shri Sai extended heartfelt greetings to the people of the state on the auspicious occasion of Devuthani Ekadashi and Tulsi Vivah, saying that this festival represents the continuity of our rich traditions, faith, and life values.
