Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai attended the Youth Introduction Conference and Shakambhari Festival organized by the Chhattisgarh Kosaria Marar community in Sambalpur village of Doundilohara block, Balod district, as the chief guest.

The Chief Minister said that education is the primary foundation for the progress of any society and nation. Therefore, it is necessary for everyone to resolve to provide quality and higher education to the younger generation. He emphasized that education is not only essential for government service but is the most important path to success in every field of life.

At the beginning of the program, the Chief Minister offered floral tributes to Shakambhari Mata, Lord Shri Ram, Mahatma Jyotiba Phule, and Savitribai Phule. He praised the Kosaria Marar community as a hardworking society connected to agriculture and the service of the earth.

The Chief Minister appreciated the organization of the Youth Introduction Conference, stating that such programs strengthen social unity and increase harmony within the community. He also praised the community-organized mass marriage ceremony, stating that such initiatives not only prevent unnecessary expenses but also provide financial support to economically weaker families.

Highlighting the importance of education, he urged all families in the community to ensure proper education for their children. He also called upon people to stay away from addiction, describing it as one of the key causes of social decline.

The Chief Minister said that the progress of every community contributes to the progress of Chhattisgarh and the nation. He expressed confidence that this event would further strengthen the unity and development of the Kosaria Marar community. He acknowledged the community’s significant contribution to agriculture and vegetable production, which serves the entire society and supports the state’s economic progress.

During the program, the Chief Minister shared information about various welfare schemes being implemented for farmers. He said that the government is procuring paddy at ₹3100 per quintal and is taking steps to increase irrigation capacity. Efforts are also being made to promote animal husbandry and increase the production of pulses and oilseed crops.

The Chief Minister released the Youth Introduction Directory published by the Kosaria Marar community. He blessed the newly married couples participating in the mass marriage ceremony and wished them a happy and prosperous married life.

The event was also attended by Sanjari-Balod MLA Sangeeta Sinha, Vice-Chairman of Chhattisgarh State Minor Forest Produce Federation Yagyadatt Sharma, public representatives, and community leaders.
