A delegation from the Women’s Self Defense Organization Chhattisgarh met Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai today during the Jandarshan program held at the Chief Minister’s residence. The delegation submitted a memorandum requesting the approval of voluntary grants for players who have brought pride to the state by performing exceptionally well in sports like karate, wrestling, and taekwondo at national and international levels. Chief Minister Shri Sai listened attentively to the suggestions and demands presented by the organization’s office-bearers and players. The players informed him that they have represented Chhattisgarh in various competitions in India and abroad, and that continued training and support are essential for them to further elevate the state’s reputation. They also requested the provision of sports equipment, training facilities, and financial incentives. Appreciating the dedication and sentiments of the players, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai said that the state government is committed to honoring and encouraging sporting talent.
