A car plunged into a gorge in Ratlam on Friday morning, killing five people, including a 15-year-old boy and a 60-year-old man. The accident occurred near Bhimpura village, under Rawati police station limits, shortly before the Mahi River bridge on the Delhi–Mumbai Expressway at around 7:30 am. The vehicle, bearing registration number MH03 EL 1388, broke through the railing and fell into the gorge. According to initial information, the occupants were from Mumbai and Ahmedabad and were travelling from Delhi to Mumbai. All bodies have been sent to Ratlam Medical College. Rawati police station in-charge Surendra Gadariya said the identities of the deceased have not yet been confirmed. See pictures of the accident… ​
