Gold and silver prices are down on Monday, 17 November 2025. According to the India Bullion and Jewelers Association (IBJA), 10 grams of gold has fallen by ₹2,080 to ₹1,22,714. Previously, the gold price was ₹1,24,794 per 10 grams. Meanwhile, silver has fallen by ₹5,237 to ₹1,54,130 per kilogram. Previously, its price was ₹1,59,367 per kilogram. Gold had made an all-time high of ₹1,30,874 on 17 October and silver had made an all-time high of ₹1,78,100 on 14 October. IBJA’s gold prices do not include 3% GST, making charges and jewellers’ margin, therefore rates in cities are different from this. RBI uses these rates to determine Sovereign Gold Bond rates. Many banks use it to set gold loan rates. This year gold increased by ₹46,552 and silver by ₹68,113 Gold can go up to ₹1.25 lakh again
