Mob beats SI despite his apologies in Khandwa’s Bherukheda:Crowd gathers after police officer’s car hits motorcycle, injuring 3 bikers

A tense situation erupted near Bherukheda village in Khandwa on Wednesday evening after a car driven by SI Ashok Nargave of Narmada Nagar police station hit two motorcyclists, injuring three people. An angry mob then surrounded and assaulted the SI. A video of the incident surfaced on Thursday. The incident occurred under the Dhangaon police station area. Police said SI Ashok Nargave was returning from Khandwa Court in an Ertiga on Wednesday evening. Due to the poor condition of Mundi Road, he took the Khandwa–Kalmukhi route toward Punasa, where his car collided with a motorcycle. Mob thrashes SI after accident After the collision, a crowd gathered at the spot. The SI was inquiring about the condition of the injured youth when some youths attacked the SI with slaps and punches. SI Nargave kept apologizing with folded hands. SI took injured to hospital ​
