CM says — “The goals are big; therefore, the action plan must be solid and implementation must be honest.”

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai today held a high-level meeting at the Mahanadi Bhawan Secretariat regarding the achievement of goals set for the Education Department under Chhattisgarh Anjor Vision 2047. During the meeting, he discussed in detail the short-term goals up to 2030, medium-term goals up to 2035, and long-term goals, instructing officials to prepare a concrete action plan and ensure quick and effective implementation.

The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has set the target of Viksit Bharat 2047, and in the same direction, efforts are being made to achieve the goals of a Viksit Chhattisgarh through the ‘Anjor Vision’. He emphasized that education is the strongest foundation for achieving these goals, as skilled, capable, and smart children will be the ones who can face future challenges. He also noted that the number of teachers in the state is better than the national average and that quality education is being provided in government schools. During the meeting, the Secretary of the School Education Department shared a detailed presentation with the Chief Minister.

Chief Minister Shri Sai stated that if every teacher fulfills their responsibilities with dedication, nothing can prevent children from achieving a bright future. He stressed promoting healthy competition among teachers, providing leadership opportunities to talented teachers, and fostering a better academic environment. He also instructed officials to strengthen early childhood education through Anganwadi and Balwadi centers and to enhance coordination with the Women and Child Development Department.

The meeting reviewed major targets under Anjor Vision 2047, including the establishment of 1,000 model schools, implementation of the school complex system, starting international-level schools, AI-based assessment systems, personalized lesson plans through digital apps, improved teacher training, and expansion of STEM education.

The Chief Minister laid special emphasis on promoting STEM education through the establishment of a Science City, organizing science fairs, and setting up AI and robotics labs. There were extensive discussions on achieving zero dropout rate by 2035, forming a state-level ECCE committee, teacher recruitment, strengthening evaluation centers, and setting targets for the next three years to ensure timely action.

He reviewed the functioning of the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education — including data collection of examinees, question paper development, exam administration, and evaluation procedures. He also directed officials to introduce more subject options at the higher secondary level, develop question banks based on competitive exams, ensure error-free evaluation systems, and create a tracking system for transporting confidential question papers.

The meeting also highlighted achievements under NEP 2020, such as significant improvement in enrollment rates, linking Balwadis with school education, mother tongue-based teaching, ‘Magic Pitara’ and communication programs, eco-club activities, digital broadcasting under PM e-Vidya, and the expansion of vocational education.
