The BJP secured a historic win in West Bengal, marking its first victory in the state. In Assam, the party is set to form the government for a third consecutive term, while in Puducherry, the BJP-led alliance has retained power for a second straight time. In Tamil Nadu, the BJP-AIADMK alliance finished second, with actor Vijay’s party emerging as the leading force. In Kerala, the Congress-led alliance clinched victory. Following the results, BJP workers held celebrations in several parts of the country.
