The Indian Army on Sunday arrested a Pakistani intruder on the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir. According to officials, this is the third Pakistani intruder caught in the district this month. The arrested person has been identified as 31-year-old Raees Khan, who is a resident of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). Officials said that he had crossed the LoC from the Balakot sector and entered Indian territory, after which the army immediately took him into custody. No objectionable material has been recovered from him in the initial investigation. Security agencies are interrogating him to ascertain why he crossed the border, if he had any contacts in India, or if he had any specific objective. Suspicious Pakistani drone also seen in Samba Meanwhile, a suspicious Pakistani drone was seen hovering for some time inside Indian territory early Sunday morning at the International Border (IB) in Jammu’s Samba district. According to officials, the drone was spotted near Nundpur village. Following this, the Border Security Force (BSF), the Army, and the police launched a joint search operation. It was suspected that weapons or drugs might have been dropped via the drone, but no suspicious material was recovered during the search.
