CISF officer accused of taking girl’s photos in Delhi Metro:Officer allegedly pointed gun when asked to delete pictures; accused suspended

A video has surfaced from the Delhi Metro showing passengers allegedly snatching a phone from a CISF officer. Some passengers are also seen pulling him by his collar. The woman seen in the video alleged that the CISF officer had secretly taken her photographs. When she confronted him, he denied doing so. However, when his phone was checked, several photographs of the woman were reportedly found in the gallery. When she asked him to delete them, the situation became heated. Passengers then took the phone from the officer. Media reports also claimed that the officer pointed a gun at the passengers. The incident took place late on Saturday night at AIIMS Metro Station on the Yellow Line. The video went viral on social media on Sunday. According to CISF sources, the accused officer was suspended shortly after the incident came to light. The matter is under investigation. CISF officer’s phone reportedly contained several photographs Passengers checked the phone’s photo gallery In the alleged viral video, passengers can be seen questioning the CISF officer. He initially denied taking any photographs. The woman and other passengers then asked him to show them his phone’s photo gallery. After checking it, they reportedly found photographs of the woman. The situation then turned into an argument. In the video, the woman can be heard saying, “What is this? Delete my photos.” Passengers tried to take the phone from the CISF officer, but he refused to hand it over. The argument then turned into a scuffle. CISF officer suspended after the incident According to CISF sources, the officer was suspended soon after the incident came to light. An investigation has also been launched. People on social media said that if the allegation of taking the woman’s photographs without her permission is proved, it would be a serious matter. PCR call received at 12:40 am Metro police sources said they received a PCR call at around 12:40 am on Sunday about the incident. Passengers, including the woman, reported that a CISF officer had allegedly taken her photograph without permission. Police reached the spot, but the woman did not file a complaint. The matter was later reported to CISF officials. ​
