Modi’s Fourth Visit to Uzbekistan: Delegation-Level Talks on Trade, Defence and Viksit Bharat 2047 Vision India-Uzbekistan Strategic Partnership to Get New Boost – PM Modi Heads to Tashkent Prime Minister Narendra Modi today left for Tashkent, Uzbekistan on a two-day State Visit at the invitation of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. This is his fourth visit to Uzbekistan and second bilateral visit. According to the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), during the visit on August 29-30, the Prime Minister will hold delegation-level talks with President Mirziyoyev to further strengthen the Strategic Partnership between the two countries. The two leaders will review cooperation in trade and investment, defence, digital connectivity, energy, education and people-to-people domains and set the agenda for the road ahead. They will also share perspectives on advancing the shared developmental visions of *Viksit Bharat 2047 and Uzbekistan-2030*. As per his departure statement, PM Modi will also visit the *Shastri Memorial* in Tashkent and the *Mahatma Gandhi Centre* at the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies. From Tashkent, the Prime Minister will travel to Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic to participate in the *26th SCO Summit* on August 31 – September 1, which marks the 25th anniversary of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation.
