On this occasion, he praised the Agrawal community’s rich tradition of entrepreneurship, philanthropy, philanthropy, and social service, saying that the Agrawal community has played a significant role in Chhattisgarh’s economic and social progress. Moving beyond trade and business, the community’s entrepreneurs have also made significant contributions in the areas of industrial establishment, employment generation, and public service. Referring to the ideals of Maharaja Agrasen Ji, the Chief Minister said that he envisioned a society based on social equality, compassion, cooperation, and participation. His message was that true progress is possible only when every individual has the opportunity to advance, and when those who are capable take the hand of those in need and lead them on the path of progress. The Agrawal community has embodied these ideals of Maharaja Agrasen Ji in their conduct from generation to generation. Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the Agrawal community’s identity is not limited to successful business and entrepreneurship. A spirit of philanthropy, along with earning money, has been a hallmark of this community. The community has consistently fulfilled its social responsibility through health camps, dharamshalas, education and health institutions, and numerous public service activities in various regions of the state. Referring to the difficult times of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Chief Minister said that when the entire country was grappling with an unprecedented crisis, the Agrawal community stepped forward to help those in need. Whether it was arranging oxygen for patients, delivering rations to needy families, or helping people through health camps, the community fulfilled its responsibilities with a spirit of service. Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the Chhattisgarh government is continuously working to create a safe, transparent and industry-friendly environment in the state, where trade and industry expand, investment increases, and more employment opportunities are created for the youth. He said that the suggestions of experienced members of the Agrawal community associated with business and industry have been helpful in making the government’s policies more practical and useful for the people. Society will get new energy from the participation of women power and youth Chief Minister Shri Sai, while appreciating the special place given to women power in the Agra Mahakumbh, said that today, our daughters and sisters, along with shouldering family responsibilities, are showcasing their talent and leadership abilities in every field, including business, education, medicine, industry, startups, and social service. The increasing participation of women is providing new strength to the economic progress of families, society, and the state. He also described the special session for youth as important, saying that in changing times, the new generation faces a vast world of opportunities. Youth must embrace modern technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship while remaining connected to their values and traditions. The Chief Minister urged young people not to limit themselves to job hunting, but to advance themselves through new ideas and ventures, creating employment opportunities for others. Employment-focused industrial policy opens new doors for investment Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the state government’s Industrial Policy 2024-30 has been designed to be employment-focused. It encourages micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises, and makes special provisions for various sectors, including women. Considering the growing potential of tourism in the state’s economy, tourism has also been granted industry status. The Chief Minister stated that the state has received investment proposals worth over ₹8.23 lakh crore (approximately $1.82 billion). The implementation of these investment proposals will expand industrial activity in the state and create significant employment opportunities. He added that the state government recently approved the “Chief Minister’s Startup and Nipun Mission” to foster youth entrepreneurship. A provision of ₹500 crore (approximately $1.5 billion) has been allocated for this initiative over the next five years. Under the mission, entrepreneurship development centers are planned to be established in all 33 districts of the state. Additionally, 100 emerging technology labs and 5 industry centers of excellence will be established. This will provide youth with better opportunities to advance in new technologies, skills, innovation, and startups. The Chief Minister said that the state government has also approved the Chhattisgarh Export Promotion Policy 2026-30. Its objective is to connect the state’s small industries, local products, and value-added agricultural and industrial products with major markets in the country and the world. This will open new markets for local entrepreneurs and provide widespread recognition to Chhattisgarh’s products. Chief Minister Shri Sai, highlighting the economic potential of the Surguja region, said that it offers vast opportunities in the areas of tourism, agriculture-based industries, food processing, and local products. Following the recognition of tourism as an industry, new investment and employment opportunities are emerging in the areas of hotels, homestays, and tourism services. He called on experienced entrepreneurs from the Agrawal community to tap into these possibilities and, through their experience and entrepreneurship, help the state’s youth and small entrepreneurs advance. The guidance of senior and experienced entrepreneurs can play a crucial role in helping the new generation become self-reliant and create local employment. The Chief Minister also praised the inclusion of topics like health and yoga in the Aag Mahakumbh. He said that health should not be neglected amidst the busyness of business and work. Healthy individuals create healthy families and a healthy society, and only a healthy society can move forward towards continuous progress. Chief Minister Shri Sai expressed his pleasure at the recognition of outstanding talents in various fields through the “Dasam Agra Alankaran” and congratulated and wished all the honored dignitaries. He said that honoring the talents of society also inspires the new generation to excel in their fields. The Chief Minister congratulated the Chhattisgarh Provincial Agrawal Organization, Agrawal Sabha Ambikapur, and Surguja Divisional Agrawal Mahasabha, along with all the officials and members associated with the event, for organizing the Agra Mahakumbh 2026. The social system envisioned by Maharaja Agrasen ji was rooted in equality, cooperation, sensitivity, and participation.
