Common Service Centres and Seva Setu Centres will be integrated, more services will be available on a single digital platform

907 services of 38 departments are available online through Seva Setu, facilities are available from more than 16 thousand centres.

National Skill Training Institute to be established in Nava Raipur, letter for allotment of 10 acres of land handed over

The institute will be built at a cost of approximately ₹250 crore and will provide modern skills training to approximately 4,000 youth annually.

Three important initiatives in the fields of employment, digital governance, and skill development were launched today at the Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhawan in the presence of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai. Chief Minister Shri Sai presented appointment letters to young sub-engineers selected at the Nava Raipur Atal Nagar Vikas Pradhikaran. An MoU was signed between the Chhattisgarh Infotech Promotion Society (CHIPS) and the Common Service Center to make government digital services more accessible and accessible to citizens. A letter allocating 10 acres of land for the proposed National Skill Training Institute in Nava Raipur was also handed over.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai said on this occasion that the state government’s priority is to provide employment opportunities to the youth, simple and transparent government services to the citizens, and modern skills to the new generation in accordance with future needs. The government is laying a strong foundation for a developed Chhattisgarh by linking employment generation, skill development, digital governance, and modern infrastructure.

The Chief Minister said that the true purpose of government schemes and services is achieved only when their benefits reach citizens easily and timely. Technology is bridging the gap between government and citizens. Youth are being prepared for government services, as well as for industry, the private sector, entrepreneurship, and skill-based employment.

Young engineers will play an important role in the construction of Nava Raipur.

Chief Minister Shri Sai presented appointment letters to the young engineers selected for the post of Deputy Engineer in the Nava Raipur Atal Nagar Development Authority and wished them a bright future. He also congratulated the parents of the newly appointed engineers.

The Chief Minister said that Naya Raipur is the city of aspirations for the future of Chhattisgarh. Modern infrastructure, quality civic amenities, and planned development are being continuously expanded here. The newly appointed engineers have an important opportunity to contribute to the construction and development of this modern city.

He urged the young engineers to utilize their knowledge and technical expertise in the public interest and discharge their duties with complete devotion, honesty, and dedication. Quality, timeliness, and public interest should be given top priority in construction projects.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that continuous efforts are being made to increase employment opportunities for youth in the state. Regular recruitment is being conducted in various departments, and the recruitment process has been made transparent and timely. Employment opportunities for all youth cannot be limited to government jobs alone, so the state government is also creating a wide range of opportunities through industry, the private sector, entrepreneurship, startups, and skill development.

He said that employment generation has been given special priority in the new Industrial Policy 2024-30. Under this policy, MoUs have been signed for investment proposals worth more than ₹8.23 lakh crore, and work has already begun on several projects. The goal is to create employment opportunities for approximately 1.75 lakh youth in the coming years. The industrial policy provides special incentives for industries that provide employment to local people.

The Chief Minister said that the Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission has strengthened the transparent selection process. Children from poor, farmer, and ordinary families are being selected and advancing based on their talent and hard work. The Chhattisgarh Employees Selection Board has also been formed to further expedite the recruitment process.

Digital governance gets a new impetus, MoU signed between CHIPS and Common Service Centre

The MoU was signed between Chhattisgarh Infotech Promotion Society (CHIPS) and the Common Service Center in the presence of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai. The MoU was signed by Chief Executive Officer Shri Mayank Agarwal on behalf of CHIPS and State Head Shri Jai Narayan Patel on behalf of the Common Service Center Special Purpose Vehicle.

Through this MoU, citizen-centric services available on the Seva Setu portal will be integrated with the Common Service Center digital platform. Similarly, work will be done to integrate the services available at Common Service Centers with Seva Setu. This will reduce the need for citizens to visit different platforms and make more services readily available at centers near them.

To make it easier for citizens to identify Common Service Centers and Seva Setu Centers, these centers will have uniform branding and signboards. Information about key services available at the centers will also be clearly displayed. The Village-Level Entrepreneur Network of Common Service Centers and Seva Setu Centers will be used in concert to deliver government services to the last mile in rural and urban areas.

More than 16 thousand Seva Setu centers, more than 54 lakh applications

Currently, 907 services from 38 departments are being provided online through 16,619 centers via Seva Setu. Since April 1, 2025, more than 5.423 million applications have been received on the Seva Setu portal, of which more than 90 percent have been resolved.

More than 600 government and business services are also being provided to citizens through 28,450 active Common Service Centers in the state. Following the MoU, Seva Setu’s reach will expand to 907 active government services. This will allow citizens, especially those in rural and remote areas, to access more services closer to their homes.

Preparations to connect more than a thousand services to a digital platform

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Seva Setu is being developed as a comprehensive digital platform for citizen services. The process of integrating 166 central government services with state government services is underway. This will pave the way for over 1,000 services to be made available to citizens through a single digital platform.

The Chief Minister said that the state government is committed to clean, transparent, and accountable governance. The objective of providing government services online is to save citizens from unnecessary visits to offices, ensure timely service delivery, and enhance transparency and accountability throughout the process.

He said that the Chief Minister’s Helpline 1076 has also been launched to quickly resolve citizens’ problems. Approximately 8,000 officers, from the Tehsildar to the Secretary level, are connected to it, and a time limit has been set for resolving complaints. The government’s effort is to ensure that citizens do not have to go after the system with their problems, but rather that the system itself be accountable for resolving them.

National Skill Training Institute to be built in Nava Raipur at a cost of approximately Rs 250 crore

At the event, a letter allocating 10 acres of land for the establishment of the National Skill Training Institute in Nava Raipur was also handed over. Approximately ₹250 crore will be spent on the construction of the proposed institute. It is proposed to provide modern and quality skills training to approximately 4,000 youth annually.

The institute will offer training in approximately 20 different trades. Training programs will be tailored to the changing needs of industry and the job market, enabling youth to gain practical knowledge of new technologies and take advantage of employment opportunities as well as self-employment and entrepreneurship.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the National Skill Training Institute will become an important center for modern skills and employment opportunities for the youth of Chhattisgarh. In this era of changing technology, it is essential to equip youth not only with degrees but also with modern skills tailored to the needs of industry. This institute will play a vital role in preparing the state’s youth for future employment.

Nava Raipur is developing as a hub for national level education and skill institutions: Shri O.P. Choudhary

Housing and Environment Minister Shri O.P. Choudhary congratulated the newly appointed young engineers and their parents, saying they have an important opportunity to contribute to the construction of a rapidly developing, modern city like Naya Raipur. Infrastructure is the foundation of any state’s economic development, and engineers play a vital role in building quality infrastructure.

Mr. Chaudhary said that while youth are naturally attracted to government jobs, employment and career prospects are not limited to the government sector. Extensive opportunities are also emerging in the private sector, entrepreneurship, technology, and skill-based sectors. Along with government recruitment, the state government is focusing on providing quality skills training and creating new employment opportunities for youth.

Finance Minister Mr. Chaudhary said that a transparent and fair recruitment process strengthens youth’s faith in the system. He called upon the newly appointed engineers to uphold the transparent system through which they have been granted the opportunity to serve, and to prioritize honesty, dedication, and public interest throughout their service, actively contributing to the creation of a developed Chhattisgarh.

Citizens will get clear information about the services available at the centres.

Secretary Mr. Ankit Anand said that as per the instructions of Chief Minister Mr. Vishnu Dev Sai, information related to major services related to citizens will be prominently displayed at the service centers. These include services like caste certificate, residence certificate, EWS certificate, marriage certificate, electricity connection, land use information, trade license, construction worker registration, ration card and social security pension.
Along with this, services related to the central government like Aadhar, Ayushman, gas connection, PAN card, passport, pension, crop insurance, Fastag, Udyam identity card, agricultural drone service and services related to private banks will also be available to the citizens. 

On this occasion, School Education Minister Shri Gajendra Yadav, Commerce and Industry Minister Shri Lakhan Lal Devangan, Chief Executive Officer of Nava Raipur Development Authority Shri Chandan Kumar along with senior officers of the concerned departments and newly appointed engineers were present.
