Emphasis on effective implementation of development schemes, Instructions to ensure access to schemes to villages Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Shri Subodh Kumar Singh today reviewed development works in Naxal affected districts of the state, The meeting reviewed beneficiary oriented programmes and schemes in Bastar, Sukma, South Bastar, Dantewada, North Bastar Kanker, Narayanpur, Kondagaon, Bijapur, Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki and Gariaband districts. Principal Secretary to CM, Mr Subodh Kumar Singh reviewed in detail MGNREGA, Ayushman Card, Ration Card, Ujjwala Yojana, Jan Dhan Account, Pradhan Mantri Gramin Sadak Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi, Aadhaar Card among other beneficiary oriented programmes in Naxal affected districts. In the meeting it was informed that Aadhaar registration of more than 99 percent of the people in LWE affected districts has been completed. Similarly about 28 lakh 18 thousand 616 farmers are being registered under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi and they are being given the benefit of the scheme. Under Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, bank accounts of 26 lakh 21 thousand 491 beneficiaries have been opened. Under Ayushman Bharat Yojana, 35 lakh 66 thousand 409 beneficiaries have been provided treatment facility for serious diseases. Mobile towers are being set up to enhance mobile connectivity in rural areas. Branches of various banks and post offices are being opened to provide maximum banking facilities to the people in the region. Ration cards have been made to provide food grains regularly to all eligible beneficiaries under PDS. During the meeting, Principal Secretary Subodh Kumar Singh directed that all eligible MGNREGA beneficiaries of the area should be provided their job card to provide employment. Construction of all houses sanctioned under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana should be completed soon and Pradhan Mantri Awas should be provided to all surrendered Naxals. He directed that the remaining beneficiaries under Mahtari Vandan Yojana should be surveyed soon and benefited. The surrendered Naxals should be trained in special trades as per regional requirements under the Skill Development Scheme. Buildings of primary and secondary level buildingless schools should be constructed soon and it should be ensured that primary and secondary schools are in the same campus.
