Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, today visited NAMTECH, located in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. This institute is known for teaching manufacturing, engineering, and technology using new and modern methods.

The Chief Minister said that Gujarat is the sacred land of Mahatma Gandhi and Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, which has given the entire country a message of development, self-reliance, and innovation. He expressed his wish that similar institutes should be established in Chhattisgarh as well, where youth can get opportunities to learn modern technology and industrial training. He added that the state government is working rapidly to connect the youth with self-employment, technical knowledge, and industries.

During the visit, the Chief Minister observed the teaching methodology, modern laboratories, and technical facilities at the college. He interacted with students to understand how they gain practical knowledge by working on projects and machinery. He also discussed their experiences and future plans.

Shri Sai informed that the state plans to develop ITI colleges in a way that young people can learn new technologies like smart manufacturing, robotics, and automation. He said that soon, modern machines and digital training facilities will be introduced in Chhattisgarh’s colleges so that students can develop real working skills along with theoretical learning.

NAMTECH’s management briefed the Chief Minister that in Gujarat, they have adopted a model where colleges are interconnected, making education more effective. Students are now able to directly work in industries after learning new technologies. The management also expressed willingness to collaborate in Chhattisgarh to modernize ITI colleges. The plan is to create a network model where one college specializes in a new technology and shares that knowledge with others. With this model, more than 10,000 youth in Chhattisgarh will be trained every year in modern technologies and industrial practices.

This will help students gain real work experience, build deeper understanding of machines, automation, and new engineering methods, and improve their employment opportunities. They will be ready to work on major industrial projects in the country.

The Chief Minister stated that Chhattisgarh will play a key role in realizing the vision of a Developed India by 2047. He said, “Young people are Chhattisgarh’s greatest strength. The state is preparing such youth who will move forward with new ideas and modern technology to build a developed Chhattisgarh and a developed India.”

On this occasion, Chief Minister’s Principal Secretary Shri Subodh Singh, Secretary Shri Rahul Bhagat, Secretary of Higher Education & Skill Development Shri S. Bharathidasan, and other officials were present.
