Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Friday congratulated the NDA for gaining a decisive edge in the ongoing Bihar Assembly election, calling the coalition’s performance a reflection of strong and united leadership under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP national president J.P. Nadda and Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Responding to Congress allegations that the election was a contest between the party and the Election Commission, Yadav dismissed the charge outright. Congress has no right to make such claims. The party’s leadership had abandoned the campaign midway. Their prince left Bihar and was holidaying in Madhya Pradesh even in the middle of elections. he remarked. Comparing the Congress to a groom who runs away from his wedding, the Chief Minister said the party had left its own campaign machinery stranded. Surprise visit to Gopal Mandir after transit stop Yadav, who was in Indore on transit this morning, made an unexpected visit to the historic Gopal Temple at Rajwada. Before stepping out, he reviewed early trends of the Bihar election results at the airport lounge. At the temple, he reviewed ongoing restoration work and sought updates on conservation efforts of the heritage structure noted for its architecture. ‘Victory was clear during campaign’ During his surprise inspection of MG Road Police Station, Yadav said the NDA’s prospects in Bihar were evident from the moment BJP leaders campaigned there. Just as the public gave us a majority for the third time in Delhi, we have formed governments in Delhi, Haryana, Maharashtra and now in Bihar. he said. Reiterating his earlier comment, he said, We had said the groom had run away, leaving behind the band, the procession and the horse. Under Modi ji’s leadership, we all fought unitedly and won. To attend tribal pride day event in Barwani On Thursday, Yadav attended the Madhya Pradesh Tech Growth Conclave 2.0 at the Brilliant Convention Centre, organised by the Department of Science and Technology. Later today, the Chief Minister will travel to Moratalai village in Barwani district to attend the Tribal Pride Day programme. He will unveil the statue of Bhagwan Birsa Munda and address a public gathering. A venue spread across nearly 20 acres, located about a kilometre from Moratalai, has been prepared for the event. ​
