Mahabharat to give message of peace at Bharat Bhawan in Bhopal, CM Dr Mohan Yadav to attend historic Mahabharat Samagam from January 16 to 24 and Bhopal To Give Message of Peace Amid War-Like Situation in The World, A Gathering of Artists from Indonesia to Japan At Bharat Bhavan said CM’s Cultural Advisor And Trustee Secretary Veer Bharat Nyas Shriram Tiwari.

The Mahabharat Samagam will be held from January 16 to 24. Eminent colour groups from Indonesia, Sri Lanka and Japan, including India, will participate in the Mahabharata Samagam organised by Veer Bharat Trust. The nine-day event will deliver a strong message of peace and dialogue against war through drama, dance-drama, puppet workshops, folk and classical performances, International Film Festival and Immersive Dome Theatre.

Big Global Message of Peace From Mahabharata

Mr Shriram Tiwari, Advisor to CM and Trustee Secretary, Veer Bharat Trust, said, ” In the face of growing wars, violence and conflicts of civilizations globally, Bhopal’s Bharat Bhavan will become a platform for peace and dialogue from January 16 to 24, 2026. The Mahabharat Samagam, organised by the Veer Bharat Trust, is the first and largest cultural event in the country so far. which is not just a war story to the Mahabharata. Rather, it will present as a saga of humanity, conscience and compassion. drama at the nine-day event. dance-drama. Through folk and classical presentations, it will be told that war is never a solution. Shri Krishna’s dialogue-based efforts are also relevant in today’s global conditions.

The stories of Mahabharata from different cultural perspectives will be brought to life on the stage. Through these presentations, it will be shown that civilizations have been learning from each other despite conflict. Shared human values will be highlighted through drama, dance and music. The Veer Bharat Trust aims to make Mahabharata a medium of global dialogue. to establish a bridge between cultures.

Art, film and exhibition will be attractions

Trustee Secretary Veer Bharat Nyas & Cultural Advisor to CM, Shriram Tiwari further informed that Immersive Dome Theatre, International Film Festival and puppet workshops will be the major attractions at the event. Films focused on the struggle of civilizations will be screened. At the same time, the exhibition of pathological art, weapons, chakravyuha and flags will introduce the audience to the visual world of the Mahabharata.

The Mahabharata-based picture exhibition and Indian puppetry will also be an important part of the event. Along with this, books ‘Breath of Civilizations’ and ‘Forgotten Civilizations’ will also be released.
