Indian Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi said on Saturday that if Pakistan continues to shelter terrorists and support terrorism against India, then it will have to decide whether it wants to remain part of geography or become part of history in the future. He made the remarks while responding to a question about the possibility of situations similar to ‘Operation Sindoor’ happening again during the ‘Sena Samvad’ programme at the Manekshaw Centre. He added that Pakistan must stop giving shelter to anti-India terrorists. Chinese engineer admitted providing technical support China publicly acknowledged for the first time on Saturday that it had assisted Pakistan during Operation Sindoor. According to a report by the South China Morning Post, engineer Zhang Heng from the Chengdu Aircraft Design and Research Institute said in an interview with Chinese state broadcaster CCTV that his team had provided technical support in Pakistan. He said his role was to keep fighter jets and related systems fully prepared for combat. The report added that the Pakistan Air Force uses Chinese-made J-10CE fighter jets, manufactured by a subsidiary of AVIC. Pakistan launched 900 drones from Gujarat to Kashmir On the first anniversary of Operation Sindoor, several major revelations were made during a review by the Indian armed forces. According to the review, Pakistan, China and Turkey launched 900 drones on the night of May 7 and 8. Swarm drones were launched within hours from the Line of Control in Kashmir to the international border in Gujarat. The Indian Air Force’s Air Command and Control System successfully destroyed Pakistan’s swarm drones. Pakistan was reportedly unable to damage even a single key military base in India. Pakistan is said to have copied the swarm drone attack strategy used during the Russia-Ukraine war. This tactic is commonly used by NATO countries in modern warfare.
