The Innovation At Seoni District During The Tenure of then Collector Sanskriti Jain to help schools arrange furniture for children with the participation of common people also came in for praise by Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav And Chief Secretary Anurag Jain during the Collector-Commissioner conference 2025 @ Bhopal The “model” scheme for school furniture in the Seoni district of Madhya Pradesh is known as “Gift a Desk,” a community-driven initiative launched by District Collector Sanskriti Jain in September 2025. This global movement involves donations from alumni, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), and the general public to provide benches and desks for primary school students who previously studied on the floor or mats. Till date, 704 schools have received around 10,000 benches and desks, with another 1,000 in transit.
