Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai today listened to the 137th episode of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s popular radio program “Mann Ki Baat” at Niranjan Dharamshala in the capital Raipur. Chief Minister Shri Sai said that “Mann Ki Baat” is not just a radio program, but a powerful medium for Prime Minister Shri Modi to communicate intimately with the 1.4 billion citizens of the country. Through this program, the Prime Minister presents to the entire nation the innovations taking place in different parts of the country, inspiring efforts and the achievements of people bringing positive change in the society.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the countrymen look forward to the “Mann Ki Baat” program, which airs on the last Sunday of every month. In it, the Prime Minister mentions many topics and personalities about which the country’s public is generally unaware. This encourages those doing good work, and their efforts become an inspiration for millions of countrymen.

He said that in remote villages and small areas of our country, many people are doing remarkable work for the benefit of society and the nation without any publicity or self-interest. Some are contributing to environmental protection, some are working for cleanliness, and some are bringing change in their areas by innovating using local resources. Through ‘Mann Ki Baat’, Prime Minister Shri Modi gives national recognition to the extraordinary work of such ordinary people. This strengthens the spirit of positivity and public participation in the country and inspires others to do something new and better.

Collective efforts are necessary for ‘drug-free youth, developed India’

Chief Minister Sai said that Prime Minister Modi today delivered an important message regarding the pledge of “Drug-Free Youth, Developed India.” Youth power is the greatest force for building a developed India. Therefore, keeping youth away from drugs is the collective responsibility of the family, society, and nation.

The Chief Minister said that drug addiction doesn’t just affect one person’s life, but its ill effects are felt by the entire family and society. Only a healthy, capable, and energetic young generation can build a strong nation. He called on the people of the state to actively participate in de-addiction efforts and inspire youth to lead healthy and positive lives.

The patriotism of the countrymen is seen in ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that in his “Mann Ki Baat” speech, the Prime Minister also mentioned the unprecedented enthusiasm of the countrymen for the “Tiranga in every home” campaign. Under the campaign, more than 80 million citizens uploaded selfies with the tricolor. This is not just a statistic, but an expression of the respect, pride, and deep emotional connection of the countrymen towards the national flag.

He said that following Prime Minister Modi’s call, “Tiranga in every home” has become a mass campaign. Such campaigns strengthen the spirit of national unity and remind every citizen of their role and duty in nation-building.

Women are getting financial support from PM Swanidhi

Chief Minister Sai said that the Prime Minister also discussed the economic empowerment of women through the PM Svanidhi Scheme. Through the scheme, women involved in street vendors and small businesses have the opportunity to expand their businesses and become self-reliant.

He said that approximately 46 percent of the beneficiaries of the PM Svanidhi Yojana are women, and that nearly 3.5 million women across the country are joining the scheme and giving new impetus to their small businesses. Economically empowered women not only strengthen their families but also play a vital role in the progress of society and the country. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi, new opportunities are continuously being provided to make women economically self-reliant and integrate them into the mainstream of development.

Cleanliness should not just be a campaign, it should be a resolution of every person.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the Prime Minister has once again underlined the importance of cleanliness. Lasting change in cleanliness is possible only when it becomes a habit and responsibility of every citizen, not just a government campaign.

He said that when the people of a village, city, or region resolve to keep their surroundings clean, its impact is not limited to cleanliness alone, but also brings positive changes in the identity of that place and the quality of life of the people there. The Chief Minister called upon the people of the state to actively contribute in keeping their homes, neighborhoods, villages, cities, and surroundings clean.

Chhattisgarh’s Mahima Rajput proud of daughters’ flight into space science

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that today, India’s daughters are scaling new heights in every field with their talent and confidence. Their aspirations have now reached from earth to space. In his “Mann Ki Baat,” Prime Minister Shri Modi mentioned inspiring efforts like Mission Shakti SAT, through which thousands of girl students from India and various countries are getting the opportunity to understand, learn, and engage in innovation using satellite technology.

The Chief Minister said that it is a matter of special pride for the entire state of Chhattisgarh that Mahima Rajput has become a part of this important campaign. Congratulating Mahima Rajput and wishing her a bright future, he said that the daughters of Chhattisgarh are displaying their talent in education, science, technology, sports, and other fields. Her achievements inspire other daughters of the state to dream big and make them come true.
