They are also called “Makhan Chor”, but now the Madhya Pradesh’s Mohan Yadav government will launch a campaign of social consciousness to remove the tag of ‘Makhan Chor’ associated with Krishna’s name. At the social level, the true fact of Krishna’s eating makhan will be placed among the people at events. This was initiated by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. On Janmashtami, the Chief Minister had said that the attachment that Lord Krishna has to Makhan is such that at that time Makhan used to go to Kansa’s house. Lord Krishna was angry that this Kansa was oppressing us by eating our butter. From parents to the village to express their anger, they formed a team of Bal Gwal to eat their own butter or to burst the matki. Our enemy should not reach Makhan. Following to the Chief Minister’s statement, Dainik Bhaskar spoke to Chief Minister’s Cultural Advisor, Secretary Veer Bharat Trust And Director, Vikramaditya Shodhpeeth Shriram Tiwari, We are highlighting the points of the Interview. Question: Why take the initiative to remove the tag of Makhan Chor with Lord Krishna? Answer: For the last hundreds of years, we have been talking about the Indian knowledge tradition, be it Shri Ram, Shri Krishna, Mahadev, Devi… There has been a constant struggle to impose false concepts about everyone and to divide India. That continuity has not ended yet. Question : How will hundreds of years old perceptions change? Answer : This is less noticeable. As the Government of India has adopted two years – one is AD and the other is Saka Samvat. Would any scholar bother to explain why the years promoted by those who tried to subdue India have been adopted?Shri Ram Tiwari, the Chief Minister’s Cultural Advisor, pointed out that the Shakas did as the British did. We are both sitting on our heads. Many such misconceptions need to be changed. Shri Ram Tiwari, Secretary, Veer Bharat Trust, Director, Vikramaditya Shodhpeeth and Cultural Advisor to CM has said that there is not much old talk about Shri Krishna. When it was assumed that there was no Mahabharata, there was no Krishna, there was no Rama. It is our endeavour to bring factual information to the society and we are active in Madhya Pradesh under the direction of the Chief Minister. Question : What are the plans for places related to Sri Krishna in Madhya Pradesh? Answer: There are three places associated with Sri Krishna in Madhya Pradesh. One is the context of Rukmani’s abduction. Rukmini ji herself had come from Vidarbha to Amka-Jhamka near Amjhera in Dhar. She had given a message to Sri Krishna and decided that she wanted to be with him but the family did not want to marry him. Shri Ram Tiwari, Cultural Advisor to the Chief Minister, said that the second connection is with Ujjain, where Mitrinda was among his eight Patranis. The third connection is to the marriage of his wife Jambavati on the Jamgarh Hills near Raisen. This is where the war between Jamwant and Krishna also took place. Shri Ram Tiwari further explained that there are many such incidents. Our narratives and traditions need to be understood. From developing these places to connecting people, there will be an effort. The CM had offered prayers on Janmashtami festival in Ujjain on August 16. Question : Have you conducted any surveys on temples in Madhya Pradesh? What are the plans for the next one? Answer: According to the survey conducted by the Department of Culture in MP, there are about 3222 temples in the state of Sri Krishna’s state-held and private sector. The Chief Minister has taken the initiative to clean and decorate all these temples. Awards have also been set for him. Shri Ram Tiwari, Cultural Advisor to the Chief Minister, said that on the day of Janmashtami, the first temple will be given a prize of 1.5 lakh rupees and the second temple will be given one lakh rupees for decorating well. The feeling is that by taking initiatives in different ways, temples should be protected and society should benefit through devotion and worship. Shri Ram Tiwari, Cultural Advisor to the Chief Minister, informed that the caves of Jamgarh in Raisen, where the battle between Krishna Jamwant took place. The caves of Jamgarh in Raisen, where a battle broke out between Krishna Jamwant. Question : At what level will the government make efforts, what will be the role of society? Answer : The government and society are no different. If there is democracy, the state can inspire society. This is what society can inspire the state. The point is that unless the sentiments of society are connected with their ancient splendor and the teachings of Sri Krishna, Sri Rama, nothing will happen. Shri Ram Tiwari, Cultural Advisor to the Chief Minister, said that it is the duty of the state to provide education and protect the society. It is also the duty of the state to enrich spiritual and religious teachings and the state is taking the initiative of that.
